Ed is a lead structures estimator, responsible for reviewing, estimating, and oversight of structural items on roadway and rail projects. He has worked in the industry for 23 years and has experience with many different bridge types including Cast-in-Place Segmental, Precast Segmental, Steel Arch, and concrete/steel girders. Ed’s bridge experience covers all work from deep foundations through the superstructure, both on land and over water. Ed has experience with Accelerated Bridge Construction Techniques (ABC) including self-propelled modular transport, bridge slides, and construction with precast members. He has a long history estimating and building a variety of walls, box culverts, pedestrian structures, barrier, and miscellaneous concrete structures. Ed has been involved in risk matrix development, tracking, mitigation strategies, and costing. He has also participated or led as the ICE on over 25 CMGC projects.Ed’s working knowledge of productivity rates along with his real world construction experience makes him an invaluable asset. His proficiency with the HCSS estimating system, his professionalism, and amiability in business relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers greatly enhances the versatility of the Stanton team.
